The 2026 Italfest Watermelon Eating Contest is back and ready to make a splash! Watch contestants dive into a delicious race to the rind, testing their speed, determination, and love of summer's favorite fruit. The winner will earn bragging rights and the title of 2026 Watermelon Warrior. It's sweet, sticky, refreshing, and a whole lot of fun. Don't miss your chance to taste victory!
The winner will receive a prize. All contestants must sign a waiver form before participating in the contest. Waiver forms will be available at the Mississauga Italfest Information Booth and must be submitted before 4:00 pm. Participants must be 16 years or older.
