Piero Mazzocchetti
Piero Mazzocchetti is an internationally acclaimed Italian crossover tenor, pianist, and composer whose powerful voice and artistic versatility have made him one of Italy's leading ambassadors of classical crossover music. Born on 23 March 1978 in Pescara, Italy, he began studying piano at age seven and later added classical vocal training, laying the foundation for his distinctive tenor voice. By sixteen, he was already performing professionally, and in 1998 he moved to Munich, Germany, to pursue his career full-time. There he caught the attention of Bayern Munich football legends Franz Beckenbauer, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, and Mario Basler, whose support led to a partnership with manager Roger Wittmann.
Signed by Universal Music Germany, Mazzocchetti released his debut album "L'Eternità" (1999) to Gold Record success, followed by "Parole Nuove" (2002) and "Amore Mio" (2004). He became a regular guest at the prestigious José Carreras Gala, sharing the stage with the legendary tenor himself. In 2007, he earned national acclaim in Italy as a finalist in the 57th San Remo Music Festival, finishing third with his song "Schiavo d'Amore," introducing his crossover style to millions of Italian viewers.
His extensive discography spans over a dozen albums, including Istanti (2016), La Via del Cuore (2018), and Il Ritmo degli Esseri Umani (2021). Beyond recording, he has appeared on major Italian television networks, including the celebrity show Tale e Quale Show, and founded the Crossover Academy to mentor aspiring singers and musicians. He also remains active in charitable and humanitarian causes through music.
