What are the dates and times of Mississauga Italfest this year?
We are excited to announce the return of the ever popular and much anticipated Mississauga Italfest happening in August 2024 and will run from 5 pm - 11 pm on Friday and from 12 pm - 11 pm on Saturday.
Do I have to pay to get into the festival?
No, Mississauga Italfest is a free to the public event.
What do I have to pay to get into the VIP Lounge area of the festival and what does it include?
The VIP Lounge offers preferred table and chair seating and a variety of food options included in the ticket price.
- Advance Friday pricing is TBA. Walk-up price is TBA at the entrance.
- Advance Saturday pricing is TBA. Walk-up price is TBA at the entrance.
What happens if it rains?
Italfest is a rain or shine event. Bring an umbrella and/or rain poncho.
Can I purchase food?
Yes. We have an assortment of Italian and other food vendors on site.
Do you have accessible washrooms, accessible area, and a Drop off and Pick-up area?
Yes, there are accessible washrooms available as well as a covered accessible area. The accessible Drop off and Pick-up area is located at the North-West side of Burnhamthorpe Rd.
Should I bring a chair?
If you’re coming for the day, we highly recommend bringing a lawn chair to make the experience that much more comfortable. If it’s a hot sunny day bring a hat and sunscreen.
What are the Rules of the Festival Grounds?
- No smoking of any kind including vaping in Celebration Square
- No pets allowed (certified service dogs exempted)
- No outside alcohol
- No friendly fireworks
- No bike riding
- No skateboarding, hover boards or Segway’s
- Do not leave children unattended
What if I or someone I’m with suddenly becomes ill?
Seek assistance from an Italfest volunteer in a blue shirt or make your way to the St. John Ambulance tent located at the east entrance of the festival area on City Centre Drive.
What payment methods are accepted?
Some vendors will accept debit & credit cards, and some cash only. ATM’s are available on site.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is free parking available underground at Celebration Square and there is some paid and free parking available on the street.

How or where do I enter Celebration Square?
During the Festival you can enter through four main entrances:
- North-East and South-East side of City Centre Drive
- North-East and North-West side of Burnhamthorpe Rd.
